The impression of our comrad is consigned forever to a luminous memory of those who knew him. A memory which encourages them to continue his work, going even farther than he did. We wanted to gather these few drawings and writings describing his last war (Mario, in fact, sent many from East Africa) into a pamphlet which is certainly insufficient in its description of him. We did it because it would be a monument to him and communicate to the many who did not know him in his own words "I dedicate my sacrifices to our country..." Sacrifices which were great and heroic and will accompany us through the years as travails for our homeland.
