Pazzaglia
He was born in La Spezia in 1913 and came to Pavia when he wasonly two. He studied here and received a degree as a Land Surveyer. Subsequently he Graduated from the University of Milan in Economics and Natural Sciences. He was already employed by the Technical Office of the City (of Pavia).

After Officers Candidate School, he participated in the military operations in East Africa, the French and Yugoslavian fronts, and, finally the High Command in North Africa. As an officer of the Command, he participated in several attacks against (Italian) fortifications. He also invented an anti-tank bomb which was used for a long time by our troops.

He was killed by a mine during preparations for a mission behind enemy lines.

He died in Tripoli on January 12, 1942 and was decorated with the Silver Medal of Honor.
